Fold down bed won't lay flat

I have a 2018 Fusion Impact toy hauler. The lower bed in the cargo area, which folds to make seats does not lay flat. I have attached some pictures. My guess is the rivets are in the wrong place on the supports. Anyone else have a similar 5th wheel toy hauler with the beds in the cargo area and do they lay flat?

You're supposed to remove the ATV first! (Sorry... couldn't help myself!)

Seriously though, I have NEVER had any luck with the "Dual Duty" seat/bed without a supplemental foam mattress, or air mattress after the fold down. I spent many a sleepless night! Get a memory foam, or airbed to throw on top.

Good Luck,

Remember the bed will sit on the posts when you lower it all the way down. That should get it close “enough” to flat

That's what I thought, but the pictures I show were with the posts down.
