I should have taken more pictures, but forgot the camera. We stopped at Mancino's (sandwich and pizza shop) for lunch. Somebody said there was snow outside, but the roads were clear with some wet spots. Great to be outside and the weather was beautiful today. Sunny and 50F. Tomorrow's forecast is the same, so we'll be out again, enjoying the outdoors !!!

Glad you got to get it out. Are you trailering back to the house or is the road drying out a bit??

We loaded it on the trailer this morning, towed it down the gravel (mud road) to the blacktop. Our pole barn is on that road, so we parked there and left the trailer while we were gone. When we got back, our road was the same (probably will be for a couple of weeks) so we put it back on the trailer and brought it to the house. We'll tow it back to the pole barn tomorrow and head out in another direction. I'd like to get it on some back roads, but most of them are still icy or wet from snow melt, so we're sticking to the major roads for now. 120 miles today and hopefully tomorrow at least that, maybe more.

Wooo Hooo John! Here in my little burg in W TX it was 81 degress at 8:10pm. Coming back from the store what did I see? A SLINGSHOT coming down the road (looked like a black and gold two tone). The guy's hair sort of looked like Guy Fieri on Diners, Drive Inns and Dives; hair all over the place sticking in the air etc. His mouth was wide open and I couldn't tell if he was yawning, had a huge grin or had caught a bird in his mouth(I will say he was a kid....maybe 50). The girl beside him was wearing.....well, I kept looking, and LOOKING, but couldn't tell.....it wasn't a lot.....in this little town!!

I immediately thought of you and your Slingshot; those feelings of youth, hair flying in the wind, throwing away the inhibitions, forgetting about the birds in the air .......

I hope you have tons of fun on your toy......just kind of keep decorum in mind and don't let those youthful feelings make you do anything....well, you know, TOO young....AND, watch those birds!! I had a buddy hit a June bug without a shield and it wedged in the corner of his eye. Talk about hollering and cussin' till I got it out!

It's just a little too chilly here to be riding without heavy pants and a coat, so that couldn't have been us (while here) but in this past year, DW and I have accepted a new mantra: (should have done it 10 years ago ) LOL
