Burr cold air coming from under slide

So we spent a great thanksgiving on the Oregon coast. However I notice a lot of cold air coming from under the slide of the front bedroom. So the next day I inspected all of the seals outside and all are like new.
I slid the slide in and looked under the lower carpeted cover and found a giant gaping hole where the slide motor is! I laid there for a minute and could watch the carpet fibers blow in the wind!

My question is, does anyone know how to remove that 1’ x 5’ carpeted cover in front on the mirrored closet doors to access the slide motor area? The hole they left is about 5” x 16” that I need to make a cover for.

Thank you in advance!

Can you post a pic? We don’t sell/service that model. A pic might help determine best way to approach it.

I will try tonight, this carpeted floor/shelf if you will is part of the slide, from the front there is only about a 1/2" to see or take a pic through. If I run the slide in, I could shoot a pic from the end but i don't think you could see where I am talking about, because it is about 2 1/2' in.

There must be someway to remove the floor/shelf so you could remove or repair the slide motor.

I could be mistaken, but I believe the slide motor is inside the coach, in the enclosed area at the head of the bed. The plywood box under the mattress should have a removable top which would give you access to the motor and the slide mechanism. If you haven't yet, either lift up the mattress platform and look at the head of the bed or if there is no hinged platform, pull the mattress to the side, look for screws to remove the platform and the motor/mechanism is under that. Chances are the bottom of the bed slide is open and you'll have good access to the carpet/floor under the slide. That should give you access to the "hole in the floor". Let us know how it goes.

It is inside but not under the bed, it is just below the closet with a sliding floor section that covers it. That floor section must be removed to access the motor area.

Well I found no way to get to the gaping hole approx 8" x 18" around the slide motor and no idea how they got the slide in, but was able to put a piece of R19 insulation in the hole the best I could with a yard stick! With slide in, you have about 4" high x 24" to get something in there about 30" in there.

I can also see the emergency hex shaft to move the slide, but no way to access it.

This hole is just above the propane tank box, I pulled the front cargo bulk head thinking maybe I could plug it from there but no luck...
