Monterey County Parks System

DW & I just finished five months of volunteer work at the North Shore of Lake San Antonio in Southern Monterey County California. The lake is almost 80% full from all the rains and the hills are a beautiful shamrock green. The trees are in bloom as well as the wild flowers. The Ranger staff are assume and hard working and really care about their park. This has been a great experiance and if looking for an inexspensive place to camp this is it. The wild life is plenty with deer, wild hogs, cayotes, eagles and fish and the weather has been great.

Jim that sounds like a great experience, and a lot of beautiful scenery.

Hey Ruffus
All the weather channels have been telling us the weather isn't good up in that area, so we didn't come up ( Oh my, this is really a bummer!
