Leaving my 5th wheel in Florida

I am leaving for Canada in a couple of weeks and have been getting mixed advice as to how to leave my RV. It's permanent on a site and fastened properly. Last year, I put the slides in, used Damp Rid, and placed charcoal for odour plus Kitty litter, both in pans, to absorb moisture. I have since been told to leave the electrical hooked up and keep the Fantastic fan running till I come back in 6 months. Any thoughts, folks?

Thanks for any advice

We have a house on the south Wa coast and have a vent fan that is made to stay on always. Since 2008 and still no smells as in other homes closed up the the winter. I think the fan on is a good idea. I would put on vent covers and leave all vents open also. It might get dusty but, better to keep moisture out.
