Edisto Island State Park

Going to Edisto Island State Park in a couple of weeks . We always go down a day earlier wherever we go and usually stay in a WalMart parking lot but the closest one is a long way away. Any suggestions as to a RV friendly place to park for over night near the camp ground?

The site has listings for both private and public campgrounds rated by campers who have stayed there. All you need to do is find a location (town, city, etc.) near the campground and go from there. Most of the listings have websites that you can visit to find out more information. Along with numerical ratings of the various campground features, there are written comments.

I don't know if you've been to Edisto Island but it's a long way from nowhere. One tiny grocery store. Was there last year in April and it was freezing cold - had to buy what little warm weather clothing they had in the tiny outerwear store so.....pack some cold weather stuff!
