Which is the Smartest route for GSMNP?

Hello,

Looking for opinions based off experience on what is the smartest RV routes to take near the southeast side of the Great Smoky Mountains?

1. Traveling from Charleston, SC to Bryson City, NC.

2. Then traveling from Bryson City, NC to Stone Mountain, GA.

I prefer to tow our trailer on a 4 lane divided highway in that part of the country, and would appreciate any input.

I don't have much faith in AAA, after all their last triptik wanted to send me thru DC on my way to Pennsylvania. Seriously...

Thanks

Google map is showing I26 from Charleston then Great Smoky Mtns Exprswy (74/23) to Bryson City.
Then 23 to Stone Mtn looks like 4 lane too.
