Cooper Creek, Branson

John, we always stay at Cooper Creek when in Branson. Nice and quiet and the fishin' is usually great. Trout on the grill there is the best.

DK Henry, there is always lots to do in Branson and as John says Cooper Creek campground is very enjoyable. It is in the woods so to speak. It isn't fancy but it is clean, quiet and sits right on Lake Taneycomo which is full of trout. They have covered boat docks with fishing platforms. Great fun. You have your choice of all kinds of great music shows in Branson.

If you are into outdoor things, the giant Bass Pro Shop of Springfield is 30 miles north of Branson. They have a number of huge acquariums for the kids to enjoy.

It is Saturday May 18. Our new 2014 Keystone Cougar 31RKS is in Springfield, MO. We will be picking it up Tuesday and leaving our beloved 2006 Sunline 276SR behind.

We have our reservations for the remainder of the week at Cooper Creek in Branson. http://coopercreekresort.com/

Our grandson Austin has just completed his Junior year at Missouri State in Springfield and will be joning us for one night camping and the next day trout fishing.

Will post photos of the new rig and trout on the grill.
