Exterior Cable TV Connection
What was Keystone thinking? Behind the license plate? Tabs holding the license plate aren't that flexible, plate hangs at a bit of an angle due to the thickness of the cap/cover to the cable tv connector, behind the plate. If I want to move it, at least my patch job won't be visible!
I tried a 90-degree adapter, but it props out the licence plate even farther. I considered drilling a hole in the license plate, but would have to be pretty big to get my fingers on the "nut" to tighten the coax. Best option I've found is to partially remove the plate mounting bolts as you see in the attached photo.
If there is a silver lining in this, I prefer State Parks to commercial RV parks; therefore, don't often have an opportunity to use it. It is the little things though.

That's about how it was with mine. Thankfully, some flying debris in a windstorm sliced my rear wall and I had to get it replaced. The body shop relocated the cable hookup to a more sensible place. So, for about $1800 in damage and a $250 deductible, my cable hookup that I never use is more easily accessible.

Agree, don't use it often but when I can and am interested in checking out the local news, sure would be nice to have easier access.
I'm tempted to remove the connector, run a steel fish tape down through the opening, see if I encounter any obstacles to running the coax down to a lower opening that I'll drill. Sounds like a good winter project!

Tom,
The back exterior wall of most Keystones is a single floating panel. Except for the perimeter and any windows, it is not anchored to studs like the side walls are. So relocating something like the cable tv port should be an easy job.
One point, however, is that you need to verify which way the cable goes inside the wall from the port. You are better off to move it in a direction that does not require extending the cable. Every additional connector decreases the quality of the signal a bit. So if the wire goes up, you may want to move it well above the light fixture. If it goes down, lower the new access point.

switch the lights
I would switch the lights and put the licence plate on the opposite side.

Easy enough to do as the wiring is the same for both lights (the license plate bulb pulls its power from the parking light wire). My 318SAB doesn't have the cable connector on the back, however, when I upgraded lighting (dim at best) with brighter LED units, I moved the license plate from the curb side to the street side of the trailer. I like it better on the street side, no other reason than that, but, moving the lights would be easier, to me at any rate, than trying to relocate the cable connector and plugging the hole adequately.

I appreciate the replies. As to moving the outlet, my hope is that the cable runs down the wall and under the trailer, might be easy enough for me to confirm by pulling down the left rear corner of the underbelly cover.
Moving the plate to the curb side? That had crossed my mind, looking at the other trailers in my storage lot, all have theirs on the driver's side, didn't know if any DOT laws drive that, or just a common aesthetic.
As of now, not taking the trailer anywhere in December, either way, looks like a quick weekend job. Thanks.

There is not any laws that state that a tag must be on one side of your trailer. My Keystone came with the tag on the curb side while other Keystone trailer of the same year and model came with the tag bracket on the driver side. Where they put the light with the tag bracket depends on weather the installer is right or left handed. It would be best just to swap the lights.
