Vapor Lite 29V

Hello everyone!

I am looking to upgrade my hitch for a cross country trip from Indiana to Utah. I am currently using a Curt Round Bar hitch with 2 Friction Sway Bars.

I am looking to see what other 29V owners are using on their rig. I have used the Anderson hitch before and had zero luck with it and then went with my current setup.

Currently considering the Equalizer or the Weigh Safe True Tow. Would love to get a Propride but 4k for a hitch is out of the question.

Let me know, thanks!

Don't own a 29V, but you can't go wrong with an Equal-i-Zer.

You don't give any information on your tow vehicle. It is as important to successful towing as is the hitch, maybe even more important. It's the entire combination, adequate tow vehicle, proper hitch selection and appropriate sized trailer that work "in combination" to provide safe, comfortable, responsive towing characteristics"....

Depending on your tow vehicle and how it's set up, you may NEVER achieve the towing you're expecting...

So, what is your "entire rig" ????

2017 F250 CCSB 6.7L is the tow vehicle

2018 Impact Vapor Lite 29V is the trailer. Weight is approximately 9000lbs, 1200 pounds of tongue weight measured at a CAT scale.

Similar truck and trailer at 8500 loaded / 1200 TW. If you do go Equal-i-Zer, I'd recommend the 1400/14K model, not the 1200/12K. Pretty certain this is what their web sizing tool will recommend with your specs.
