Saw something really unusual this weekend

We were camping at one of our favorite COE campgrounds this weekend and I saw something very strange...

There are nine sites in our loop at this campground and they are all large full hookup sites of at least 60 feet and with a lot of room between sites. Usually there is a variety of trailers of all sizes but mostly bumper pulls of the small to medium sizes with the occasional popup thrown in for good measure.

But this weekend was special... My Avalanche was the smallest trailer in the loop and everyone was pulling with a dually.. not a single 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, SRW 1 ton truck or mini-van in the bunch..

I wanted to get photos but the DW said it would be rude to take photos of everyone's campsite..

Probably never see this again in my lifetime..

In the case of Dually vs. SRW... 4 > 2.........except of course when it comes time to buy new tires!

Surprising for a COE campground. Most that we have stayed in are pretty tight for a 39’ 5er. I guess it’s time for you to upgrade to a larger RV and a dually of course

Just downsized to 35 ft from 40 but kept the dually.. Every trailer except ours was 40 and over. Texas has a limit of 65 ft combined.
