You'll enjoy your visit to the UP and to NW lower Michigan. Traverse City State Park is now "partially open". The East and Central Loops are open, but the West Loop is still under construction. The campground was closed last year for electrical upgrades in the campground and reconstruction of the bath house/toilet buildings. The State Park beach, across the highway has not closed, but there are some "advisory warnings" about masks and COVID requirements.

Parts of Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes is not open, so do some checking before you head that far out. Wouldn't want you to get turned away because of a late opening or early closing on certain days....

If you're staying in State Parks/State Campgrounds, you might consider a "seasonal parks pass" rather than a "daily parks fee". As an "out of stater", depending on the number of days you'll be entering or staying at State Park facilities, the seasonal pass may be the cheaper route.
