It's more work, but remove the window & inspect the gasket, some have a foam type, or butyl tape. I think the factory techs get tired & start slacking when installing windows & doors. Replace the foam with butyl tape or remove the old tape & add a double layer if necessary then reinstall the window.
In my opinion nothing looks worse than silicone smeared around all the seams, windows & doors on a RV that will never come off.
