I cut the hole in my raptor for out dryer. Scary. Someone on this forum said to look at your outside walls in the morning and you can see the outline of your studs. They were right.

I saw them when I had it at the beach in the summer didn't think much about it then, it is under a shed now can't see lines now since the dew doesn't fall on it. Did you have to go through cabinet and panty to getting outside wall? I am like you cut wrong no fix.

Our washer/dryer is in the garage, so I only had to cut through an outside wall. Drilled halfway from the inside and then halfway from the outside. Much easier than I thought it would be. I have since then added a third air cond which required another hole through the sidewall for the electric.

I have a Splendide vented washer/dryer that doesn't throw enough moisture during the drying cycle to warrant a vent. Even though there is a vent in the sidewall forward of the garage man-door, we don't use it. You might want to try it before cutting a hole.
