N.C. Campgrounds

Heading out in May to Charleston S.C. would like to see if anyone has any good campground recommendations in North Carolina off of I95 we would like to stop about halfway from N.J.

Rv resort at carolina crossroads in roanoke rapids nc is a nice quiet over night stay $30 [email protected] right off interstate 95 exit 171.

There is RVacations down close to Smithfield and Fayettevile RV Resort a bit further south near Wade, north of Fayetteville. Both are easy on, easy off from I-95. And both are former KOA facilities.

There is the old Smithfield KOA but it has changed hands and is a rv park now.. I cant think of its name but its right at I-95 around the Smithfield area. should be easy on and off and it would be full hookups.

The DW & I always stop at Carolina Crossroads in Roanoke Rapids, NC. weather we are going North or South from home to FL or Hilton Head,SC. they have all pull throughs and 50A and free Continental Breakfast.
