Just came back from Hatteras Oct 25- Nov 3 and leaving Nov 7 for Harpers Ferry WV for a 5 day stay and going to hit Hollywood Casinos while there. Lucky me

Just got back from a long weekend at YogiBear CG in TaborCity, NC

And getting ready for my new grand daughter to be born this week.
And then we are getting ready to head out again Thanksgiving week

Have a great trip & safe travels. We are headed out this week for a short 4 day trip then will probably put her to bed for the winter unless we get tired of the cold & head down to Galveston in feb.

byrdr1 we go thru tabor city,chadbourn on the way to Myrtle Beach I have family in Loris ,Allsbrook and Conway SC pretty country all through there.Where is the Yogi bear campground in tabor city We go 74 to 410 to 701 to 9 then to 31 to 501 to the beach

We go US220/I-73/74 south from greensboro to US74 to NC410 to US701. Yogi Bear is the old DaddyJoes campground. After you turn right onto US701 from NC410 its 1/2 mile to Richard Wright Rd on the left then about 1/2 mile to the right down that road. Richard Wright Rd is just before the stop light(old hardees at the intersection, NOW a NCSECU) at Tabor city(to the right) or 701 bypass(to the left) at the light around tabor city. They have a billboard on the left hand side of the road just around that old motel on the left right in there telling to turn here or something like that.
We will left our camper and golf cart there for the next few weeks $1 a day storage fee, really cheap. We will head back the same way to get it and then on down to Ocean Lakes for Thanksgiving week. I plan to take US701 to Conway & then jump on old US501 then get on SC544 all the way to OLCG.
This is a very nice campground out in the middle of no where. Had lots of stuff to do Friday thru Sunday for the kids and adults. The rain Saturday kinda of messed up the trick or treat activities. BUT it was OK after the rain stopped. At least we didn't get the snow that Columbia SC got and the NC mountains. Check it out.

PS they just paved all the main roads in and around the CG and the owner has plans to finish paving the whole place by summer next year.
all the sites are concrete.
