marker lights

Is there a fuse for the outside marker lights? My brake, turnsignals and park lights all work. If not I just cleaned and lubed my 5th wheel ball and it may not be getting a good ground. At this point I can not find a fuse for the markers and all the fuses I have checked all work. Checked with test light on both sides........tnks..kw

Check your truck, many have a separate fuse block for trailer connections. Another member just found out yesterday that the Silverado has it on the end of the dash on the drivers door side. I know where GM puts them, not sure on others...not sure what you have for a TV.

Check under the hood, the fuse box there sometimes has the trailer connection fuses.

You are not grounded through your pin, so leave the lube on that

To check and make sure of the ground, connect a wire or jumper cable
from something metal on your RV and to the hitch or bumper of the tow vehicle. If it sparks a little bit it IS Grounding and that may have been the problem...

Marker lights and parking lights are the same circuit. If parking lights are working the markers should work also. Use a paperclip or short length of wire to jumper #3 and #4 pins on the trailer plug and the markers should light if the wiring and battery are good. If they work your problem is in your truck.
