I park mine on a 8'X14' concrete pad that is just the what tires set on. the rest of the camper is over crush stone gravel.
I built the concrte pad before I had the 5er. So 3 different campers have used the pad. I do cover the tires because I have the covers. I have read the take the tires off and store inside in the winter.
BUT I felt like I needed to be bug out ready in the winter months so I have never taken them off.
