Southeastern MA Local and camper here. I have just a few tips for you to consider when looking into Cape Cod camping. There are a lot of campgrounds, but almost all of them have a HUGE seasonal occupation. Also, a lot of campgrounds near beaches don't allow dogs or campfires on site, so if that's something you want, you have to read their fine print. Also, the really good ones book a year early for the good sites. I'm running into that same issue right now, as I assumed it was after the 1st of the year that they all start accepting reservations.
