Dan, I didn't like the wording in the beginning of this post, but since you're a big GM guy and still decided to watch this whole video, AND since you're safely locked away at home by Justin and his cohort Joe we'll let it ride!

That's why we call them Ecoburst. When the grenade goes off it's not pretty. I thing FoMoCo should have concentrated on the 5.4 instead of an overengineered mouse motor.

Lol
I am a gm truck guy. I'm also a Mustang guy.
The dude laid it all out there for folks who are fans or not. Now the onus is on the owner to pay attention save money to maintain it.

Plus he lives and works in the town I bought my truck in.
Listowel, Ontario. Farming community, friendly folks and they sell alotta trucks there. It was worth the hour and a half drive.
Funny, I don't feel tucked in and safe. Can't wait for the border opening. Have had both shots.
Hope y'all are safe and sound.

I had a 87 Thunderbird turbo coupe with a 4 cylinder turbo and 5 speed ..think it was a variant of the SVO mustang 4 cylinder ..was actually a pretty fun car but only had it for a year

Yes, the Thunderbird turbo used the SVO engine; I had an 86 Mustang SVO, almost bought an 87 Tbird turbo.

Great video. This guy does a really nice job. All engines have their quirks. He laid them out for the ecoboos well. Solid motor that certainly has its quirks. Like every other engine. For me, the takeaway was to maintenance. Take care of the motor and it will take care of you.
