Sick of looking at the rats

Every page has an ad on the right hand side; in fact two of them, of some guy holding a dead rat. Maybe start checking the images advertisers use as I am sick of looking at the rats. Probably the only one who has chased mice all over my camper recently but the rats traumatize me!

Our web browsing habits are decidedly different....my targeted ad is primarily a nice looking blonde gal hawking sweatshirts. Have you paid an inordinate number of visits to orkin.com lately....Lol?

If interesting you bring this up. A few days ago there was a political ad up there. I found it interesting that they will allow political ads but no political discussions here. I guess it’s all about what pays the bills... but political ads? Really?

Strangely, I've been looking for a Valterra twist on valve to put on the waste gate (unavailable except for one place that had a price of 103 for a $20 connection) and some "grill grates" for the gmg smoker. Now little ads for them pop up on the side....

Yep, time to change your browsing habits to something more appealing...…… (or less appalling)

Outing previous to this, we were watching TV in the evening sitting on our loveseat recliner and we both had blankets pulled up (A/C had gotten cabinet chilly) and a mouse ran up from my feet and over the my head and jumped behind the recliner. When we got home, I did a LOT of searching for mouse removing stuff; bought the probably useless sonic gizmos, mouse bait, essential oil spray, etc. Did a full clean up at home and sealed what could be sealed and deployed all the anti-mice stuff. Mice seem to be gone now (don't see their little droppings). I think the ads may be keyed to what shopping interest you had recently. I get ads on every page but usually They are the RFLIFE articles and RVTRIP Wizard. The rat ad pictured by nh_bulldog is the one I was seeing but isn't there now.

Download something like Adblock plus..... wow, what a difference. And dis-allow the 'acceptable' ads too !

George, what you're seeing is exactly what I have also. I don't pay much attention to it, but if the intrusion gets worse then I'll only sign in on my iPhone.

The ads don't really bother... just the guy holding the rat in his hands; actually was a double ad with the same ad showing one atop the other.

Most of the ads seen are "triggered by browsing habits". The ads appear based on where you've been "browsing" recently. If you notice, in the upper right corner of each "ad space" is a small blue triangle. Click on that blue triangle and it will take you to that "advertiser's option". I'd suspect that most of the ads will go to a link that shows something like: "Allow browsing triggered ads".... Right below that option should be: "Do not allow browsing triggered ads" (or something like that). Click on the "DO NOT" option and in the future, you should not get ads from that source.....

Rat ads have turned into DEAL ALERT: You could be paying less for energy in Texas and a running shoe ad. I DID NOT look at running shoes or electricity savings so the ads are not always keyed to browsing habits.
