We've stayed at a few, generally unbeknownst to us. They can be nicer but more expensive. I liked the looks of this campground and thought about staying there a week before we headed into FL this fall but at 892 a week I'm out.....and most of the things they offer, other than location, I'm not interested in.
Locations that offer the individually owned sites, little cabins, even airbnb RVs for sale/rent are OK but a little different. Not bad, but different. I will say that our experience in those places is better than the campgrounds that cater to the "full time RV livers (not RVers)" that stay there only because they can't stay anywhere else. You get a mixed bag on that.
