Replacing Marinco 50 amp Easy Lock Inlet

I recently broke the hinge on the lid to my Marinco 50 Amp/125V Power Easy Lock Inlet. The original and the replacement has a rubber gasket.
Do I need to add some type of sealant to the gasket, or is the rubber gasket sufficient for a water-tight seal?
Thanks.

I replaced ours a few years ago, and No, the gasket is all that's needed. Just make sure when you make all the wire connections, you go back over the connections a few times to retighten, wiggle the wires, and retighten again.

We too need the rain. just not so much at one time.
The County has closed several roads due to flooding and washed out bridges and the weather guessers are predicting more rain today and tomorrow.
I'll send some your way.
