Rear patio step question

Hello everyone,

My wife and I just purchased a used 2020 Raptor 428SP. Since this camper has two patios should there be two sets of stairs? My dealer told me it only had one but that doesnt make sense. The steps I have are not interchangeable from the side to rear. My side patio steps connect different than the way the rear looks. Thanks for any help guys. I am looking forward to learning everything about this new camper.

Which area do the steps fit. I have a 356 and with just the rear patio. When I was looking at the different models I do not believe the side patio had steps and it had to be accessed from inside the trailer.

My steps fit the side patio. They will not work for the rear.

That would lead me to believe you are missing a set of steps for the rear. Almost all of the rear patio systems come with entry steps, even other manufacturers.

That is what I was thinking. I'm going to have them contact keystone to find out for sure.

Are you Sure you have the 2020? The last 428 was made in 2018. The closest 2020 model to that is the 429.

Here are some photos of a 2020 429 that shows both steps. Your dealer should be doing whatever they can do get these to you. If not I would contact keystone directly.

We have a 2016 model 420, side and rear patio, which we purchased new. It came with 2 steps, that are the same. They must have changed the design on the newer models. Not sure why they did that, we usually take just one set of steps with us, and let the camp set up, determine which deck we use.

My side patio steps look like the ones in the picture above. I dont have the other for the rear. You guys had me worried about the year model so I called keystone customer service. They told me it is a 2020 428 SP. I thought it was strange the floorplan wasnt on their website.

Fortunately, keystone verified the VIN. I guess the story with this camper was a guy bought it. Towed it once and realized it was too much for his truck. I guess it scared him. He traded it in a d bought a diesel pusher. The beds still had all the plastic on the mattress. Price was right too

Fair enough, I almost had the same feeling the first time I pulled my 417 lol

Nice setup, I've got a similar set up. Fuzion vs raptor tho.
