Mounting a TV in the garage

I've seen plenty of trailers with a sticker saying 'mount TV here'... the IMPACT 312 we're picking up tomorrow has the power plug, cable plate, and no sticker.

We have a spare 32" LCD that weighs 11.5 lbs, think that's too heavy for the garage wall? (The kids want to play Xbox when we send them to 'their room'.)

At sub-$100 for a small TV these days, if this one's too heavy, I won't be too broken up if y'all say it's too heavy.

We no longer have a Toy box, but when we did, and travelled with grandkids, and even now with our current "basement model", we have over the last 10 years preferred the versatility of being able to move our spare... anywhere... by leaving the base on.

We built a shelf in the garage with a bungee for travel. We now store in the basement, but upon arrival we have the option of putting the outside tv on any horizontal surface. or leave it set up in the basement.

There have been times the sunlight is such that you can't see the screen outdoors. At other times, you can't beat movie night under the stars.

Good Luck, whatever you decide,

I was thinking of putting a Drop down type of mount and going through the wall to a support piece that would be up along bottom of loft area (we don't use it for anything but storage anyways) and basically clamping the the tv mount to the wall ? Then mounting a larger TV we can pull down when we want to use it. Some of the mounts i have found can let you drop TV almost 36 " Which would be perfect for us. We tend to use the Garage as an eating /sitting /game room when we don't have the bikes loaded inside. How did you mount yours? I have a 2013 342 Fuzion. Thanks
