table post base loose- how to repair?

both of the table bases are pulling loose at the bottom

I have retightened the screws but it did not last long

thought about taking all the screws out and putting wood filler??? any other suggestions for a permanent fix

thanks

Assuming that the floor itself is undamaged I would consider rotating the mounting plate 45 degrees and re-installing it into fresh screw holes. You may also want to consider using some type of construction adhesive, but that may require cutting the carpet away.

will rotate the base and put it back in for now but decided to go ahead and get the springfield 3 stage air powered table, been wanting to do this since i bought the trailer

it takes a lot of leverage side to side to get the poles out of the bases, so i know this will be an ongoing problem, dont even know if there is any solid wood under this thing

be a few weeks before the springfield gets here but i will update this and another thread i started on that table once it is in and i have some feedback

The Springfield base is awesome! I put it in our camper in 2015, I think, after wackiness my knees too often on the base of our table. I hope you love it as much as we do!
