Spongy Interior Doors

To make long story short, as you can see our interior doors are foam filled and not solid enough to clamp the door knobs solid. I hollowed the foam out 3/4" around opening. Used bondo in the opening. I set the doors on the edge and filled 1/2 of the gap and flipped door and filled other 1/2. Did use vasaline on the 2 faces around opening, to keep bondo from sticking to the finish. Also used tape to close opening for the bolt, because it goes throught the wood.
