Yellow stone Montana reservation July

So after banging my head trying to figure out a way to get into Rainbow point National Forest Montana at the end of July . I called the reservation number on the parks government website and talk to someone last year that told me I could make reservations six months in advance. I called this January and made my reservation for a 30 x 60 spot with water and electric at rainbow point. I was told there was just a few sites left that would accommodate my toy hauler and I had the dates down six months to the day of arrival.

So did you get a spot?
recreation.gov is near impossible for me to navigate. A couple years ago I used it to make reservations in Michigan. Then called them to cancel, thought it was a done deal until they called wondering where I was.

Yes I have a spot for a week in July before Sturgis rally ,I was more excited until I read the review's about 2 miles of dirt road from hell to the the park . All my sightseeing is on the Harley just maybe the road has been graded. Navigating the Government site requires 2 cellphones and note book to find the sites then call the number provided on the website. Any comments on Rainbow point Gallatin national forest would be good to hear about it thank you .

The road in/out is usually very well maintained and only gets bad (muddy & deep ruts in a few short sections) after a big rain
