James Island Couty Park Campground Charleston SC

First this is a pretty good campground. It's in a big multi-use county park with many positive reviews.
My reason for posting is the entrance roads. Charleston is full of big southern Live Oak trees. The 3 possible entrance roads are lined with Live Oaks and their low hanging limbs. We came in on Central Park Rd. and I was driving in the wrong lane, coming to a complete stop until I could change lanes, and generally being a pest to oncoming motorists to avoid limbs. When checking in at the park office, a guy behind me said he didn't how I avoided hitting a limb. Next time I would come in on Camp Rd. or Riverland to avoid the limbs.

Another good campground in the area is Oak Plantation Campground on Johns Island. We have stayed there twice and really like it.

Yeah we drove over there to check it out. It's ok. I think James Island is just a bit better.
