Replacing shower curtain with a door

New again Keystone owner. I have searched this topic and didn’t find anything so please forgive me if it has been asked and thanks in advance for any replies or points to other posts.

Have a Laredo TT with the dreaded curved shower curtain in the shower. With 10year olds, and sometimes me, the water leaks from around it when we shower, which has me with a non-happy wife at shower time.

So, I’d like to remove the curtain and replace with a glass door, or something of the like, where I can seal around it.

Happy wife = Happy Life

TIA Scott

Brand new door. I only have a curtain there now and want to remove that and install a door.

Think twice about installing a shower door. Typically the curtain is used in bathrooms that don't have a lot of space for a reason. Try sitting on the toilet. Will your knees hit a shower door? Can you stand and dry off/turn around with the shower wall/door in place?

Is there an alternative to a glass shower enclosure that might solve the "wet floor problem" and still give you the open space when the shower curtain is not in use?

I'm not suggesting you change your plan, just urging you to think through the potential problems before spending the money on something that your DW "hates more than the wet floor".... BTDT.....

Yep, already checked all of that and a door won’t pose a problem.

So far that seemed like the best option for me as well.

We replaced a curtain with a door. Suggest a nice bead of caulk inside & out to hold water inside, including narrow area between metal frame & glass (inside) the shower.
