2017 cougar 326srx water leak

Just heads up for Cougar owners
After 3 days of rain I went out and found water coming from the electrical outlet above the sink inside. Proceed to remove outlet which is in a small gap between the cabinet and underside. Found wires (see pics) which led to the outdoor speaker. Check the outdoor speaker which had barely any silicone if any around it and zero in the hole which the wires went through. Due to weather I used electrical putty to seal it for now and will have to revisit it when weather gets better. Still have to check other speaker which is above refrigerator and no way to get to from inside. Hope it did not cause it to delaminate!

Good catch on the source of leak. Hopefully you fixed it soon enough. The speakers in my TT have gobs of caulk around them. I'm guessing the actual hole in the wall has nothing. I had an issue last year with a front clearance light. The caulk at the top had cracked and the rain came in and decided to drain into my closet.
