Does dry lube protect from rust? That is what I am most worried about with the jacks.

I can’t answer that part. Can’t say I’ve seen rust as an issue on stab jacks in the years I’ve been working/owning RVs. Rust may be an issue in your part of the country.

I do not know about the dry lube and rust protection - I live in the SW and that isn't a problem. I now spend a lot of time in FL and although I've not had any rust issues (to speak of) from being here, I have had some slight issues. Another of our members, John, said he used "fluid film" (from memory and have a new can in the basement but nor exactly sure) that did an excellent job of rust protection. I bought some to bring and will be spraying mine as soon as I kill all these T/P ants....

I also use the Teflon pad, only a little grease on the pin where the jaws ride.

Rust is a MAJOR problem here. Any unprotected metal starts rusting in very short order. Just like the wood rotting so quickly. Very humid and wet here, and when it isn't, we call it drought [grin]. Seriously, though, my old stabilizer jacks were horribly rusted and the coupler was bad enough we considered replacing it. And that is a serious welding job.

If it’s that bad then your doing the right thing.

Yup- I was actually holding onto one of those discs, getting ready to throw it on there after he'd already told me I didn't need grease, and he told me I didn't need anything like that either. There's nothing like that integrated on Fuzion kingpin or the B&W Companion hitch. To top it off, one of the flat bolts/covers or whatever on one of the flat surfaces is jutted up maybe a millimeter or so, and has gouged the opposing surface a bit on its maiden- and only- voyage. Think I'll be grabbing one of them discs now and seeing how long it takes to chew through it.

As far inland as you are I wouldn't think it would be that bad. I live a couple of miles from the Chesapeake Bay and see the Gunpowder River from my house and I don't have that big of a problem. Yes it is a humid area and if the we get a Nor'Easter you can smell the salt air but rust isn't that big a deal. We have friends that lived south of you in Lynchburg, VA that we visited often and never noticed a big issue there either.
Now if your traveling in the winter time then all bets are off. I think the Maryland State Roads folks have a direct connection with the Goderich salt mine,
