What is this?

Located in the large storage compartment on my Raptor 361LEV. No manuals were in the trailer when I purchased it.
Thanks

Looks like it's part of a remote control unit. Did you get a remote also? Others will chime in. If you can find model numbers on it you can Google it.

That is the control unit for the remote you do not have

If new you need to notify dealer, if not notify previous owner

You are probably better off in the long term not to find it. Just my opinion

LOL Paraptor is right on track !!! You'll probably be just as well off "not finding" the remote. It's something else to keep up with, something else to learn to operate, something else to break and something else to confuse things because anything turned on with the remote will render the manual switches "inoperable" until the remote is used to turn that item off.

So, when you do find it, as soon as the novelty wears off, store it somewhere safe so it'll be there when you sell the trailer to its next owner......

It's a Lippert 8 station remote. You can download the entire PDF for all of Lippert's remote systems here: http://www.lci1.com/assets/content/s...Component1.pdf

There is individual data sheets on each system, but you'd probably be better served calling Lippert tomorrow rather than try to match pictures and part numbers, many of which have changed or are now obsolete......

Their number is 574-537-8900 and they are on CST (Elkhart, IN)

No, you did not give us the year of your Raptor. Do you have a dealer? I would suggest you contact him or keystone with your Vin #. I am sure they put various units in their rigs.

It's a 2009, we bought the unit from a consignment dealer. Everything the previous owner had for the trailer was included

Any idea what the remote control looks like for this model? There are a couple for sale but I'm not sure which one would work

I would urge you to contact Lippert with the part numbers/model numbers from the remote receiver. There are several remote control systems that were produced by Lippert and several of them look "almost identical" to the casual observer. Each of them has a different type of handheld remote unit. Keystone installed multiple models, many in the same year/same brand RV, so if you get information from one owner, that won't assure that your unit has the same remote system or the same handheld unit.

Only Lippert's customer support section can reference (with certainty) which handheld unit your system uses based on the model number of the receiver that's mounted in your RV.

Anything else would be a "best guess" opinon. I wouldn't want to suggest you spend money on something that might be a completely wrong component.

I would second John's suggestion on calling Lippert. Good folks that know their products.

I like our remote. I use it every time when putting down blocks for the stabilizers. It's also very handy if in a tight spot with the slides and need to be watching clearance. I've used it a couple of times with the awning outside but I usually just use the switch which is just inside and I have a window looking at the awning.

As was mentioned, if you DO use it some of the stuff can't be reversed unless you use the remote to undo it. When I first got mine I was checking out the remote and seeing what the buttons did. One of them didn't seem to do anything. After we hitched up and began driving I noticed my front landing lights and the side security light were on. I stopped and couldn't find a way to turn them off. They were on for TWO DAYS night and day while I tried to figure out what to do. When I got home and asked on this site (I believe) it was suggested to try to turn them off with the remote.....VOILA! They turned right off and the switches inside worked on them again. I have to say I did feel like an idiot for 2 days.........

John beat me to it, I was going to ask if you had called Lippert as recommended in John's previous post #9. There is no need to guess and as you have seen in various posts on the forum having the same year/model is not a guarantee that the two will have the same stuff!!! Get what ever numbers are on that controller and call them.

Did not realize they had remotes on a 2009 Raptor?? Glad they stopped on my year. Believe me, you are not missing much without that remote. Read some posts on this forum, if you are looking for aggravation continue to look for the remote. Highly recommend you Call Lippert
