Speaking of flashlights, if you like Surefires or Streamlights, www.lapolicegear.com has their own brand of comparable, high-quality flashlights for very reasonable prices. In fact, they just had an incredible sale, which they have occasionally. Get on their mailing list.

I forgot to day drill bits metal/wood on our five state trip this summer, had to borrow on, so now I have them on the rig with zip ties, pancake air compressor and hose, impact wrench, got air why not?
Extra rope, wood saw for tree limbs, punches. Somewhere on the forum I think their is a list of things to have.

I have a Milwaukee 18V drill and impact set. The impact is good for up to 400 ft lbs of torque so it's good for checking the ball on the hitch. Also have sockets for the hitch since most small tool sets don't have anything large enough. It comes in a nice carry bag so I added a small set of drill bits to it along with screw driver bits. I also have a small Craftsman 250 piece tool set in a nice carry box that is compact and doesn't take much space. There is room in the center of the case where I added an assortment of screw drivers, channel locks, and crescent wrenches. Zip ties, wire, a small wire connection set, tow/tie down straps, test light and volt/ohm meter. The bad part about a lot of the tool sets out there is that most of the sockets are 3/8 drive so I added a 1/2 to 3/8 reducer as well as some 1/2 extensions, tarp for ground cover (sucks working on wet ground or mud) and finally (I think) a small camp shovel.
I have a small equipment box that I made that goes behind the 5th wheel hitch. Since I transport different units I can't keep the stuff in the camper. Makes good use of space that otherwise doesn't get much use.

Oh yeah, I have a bunch of those as well as spare light bulbs for every light on the truck and RV. I carry all of the standard RV tail light bulbs, but I'm a bit different than you guys, If I have a light out, I can be shut down and not allowed to move until they are fixed.
