any stay at Sams Town RV park in Las Vegas

I was curious if anyone has stayed there and what they thought of it. What are good things to do around Sams Town. The husband is going to meetings and I won't leave my dogs unattended for long because the new adopted one likes to bark a bit. I plan on turning on the radio where they can't here ever step outside and that should work.

I have never been there, but I have been to Vegas twice.

We spent a night at Circus Circus KOA a couple of months ago. Spacious sites. Good hookups. Nice staff. Yes, it's basically a parking lot. But it did have an ok dog park. Close enough to walk to plenty of places. I think there are inexpensive shuttle buses that run on the strip.

Just something to consider.

Have stayed there a few times, they have the regular RV amenities: pool spa laundry showers full hookups. You are a bit close to your neighbor. Not too far from the strip if you want to journey over that way. Sam's Town casino has a bowling alley down stairs, movie theaters, western wear store (second floor) and a few fast food venues. Casino is a short walk through the parking structure from the campground. It isn't as busy as the casinos on the strip.
Happy Campin..

We always stay there when in Vegas. Depending on the size of your rig, you may have some options to be away from others a bit. We have a barky dog and usually get a spot in the back away from most of the traffic and others.

Been there several times, nice clean park with all the amenities, as mentioned there is a shuttle to the Strip and Fremont, well worth it to take the shuttle so you do not have to find a place to park and put up the with traffic...

Sorry... I used to keep info like that but not any more. I use Google Earth now to checkout the overhead view of places we intend to travel! It's not perfect but it does offer a bit of a preview as to where you are going.

Just mention during check-in about wanting a secluded site if one is available and they have always made it happen for us.

Smile Las Vegas Oasis RV resort - Perfect

We stayed at Oais last September. Excellent park, great 24 hour security, located at the south end of the strip, I recommend them highly.

I'll have to look them up. I liked Sams town, but next time I won't do a pull thru. They are tight. The other ones have more room. The pull thru, we couldn't put out chairs if we wanted to.

Stayed here as well a couple of years back, but did virtually nothing in the park so can't really comment on the amenities. Security seemed good.

Had the truck so when going to the strip I spent a chunk of time looking for place to park. While I found an open lot the first night by the MGM, I tried to find something further North another day and found nothing. Seemed to be only one open lot on the strip to park in. Never had any issues.
