Shake down trip: 2 weeks on the road
Picked up our Laredo 297RL TT two weeks ago today in Goshen, Indiana and arrived home today in Venice, FL. After 14 days on the road with temps in Indiana in the low 20's to last night in Cordell, Ga. in the low 80's we've had the opportunity to test the furnace & air.............both work great & efficient!
A few things need to be addressed by our local dealer:
1. City water inlet leaking inside, carpet wet
2. Shade on back window limp, just hangs there & won't raise
3. Both black & grey tank water pull handles fell off on the road (while traveling)
4. A couple small leaks around the shower stall
The mattress is a piece of junk, hardly able to support one let alone two. That will be the first thing to be replaced. My wife suggested buying a foam queen cover....maybe! BTW, we are not over weight people!
The furniture quality is good, wood cabinets is very good, carpet & lin. good, TV good, bed spread good, refer, micro, stove & oven good, comfort after setting up is very good.
Outside, the steps are a little stiff to lower & raise, new front cap with enclosed gas bottles are easy to access, battery is easy to service, the rear bumper (wher you store your sewer hose) caps keep coming loose during travel, I had to keep hitting them in at each stop.
Perfect NO, ok YES, good value for the money spent YES!
