Motorized Bed Lift
Does anyone know how or where to oil or grease your bed that is on your lift. It is chain driven but it looks like the gears are enclosed behind plating. I think I could grease the chain and run it up and down to remove the squeaking, but I am unsure.

If your talking about the Happi Jac bed system:
https://www.happijac.com/bed-lifts/
According to this it is maintenance free. If I were to use anything, it would be a dry silicone.

I just found the manual and yes it is HappiJack motorized bed system. However, the manual only touches on the lift not working not whether or not it is squealing.

Where's it squeaking at? Driver side? Pass side? In the gear box?
I would try to isolate where the squeak is coming from before I started squirting WD40.
Maintenance free? My brand new one on the driver side came free falling down when I was bringing the unit down. Some moron never tightened the set screw in the bar going across and the bar rattled out causing a disconnect. Fortunate no one was hurt.

IMO if you can't work it out for her to live in your home then it may be time to have that difficult conversation on what's best for care & safety.

It sounds like it is from the gears rotating the chains but I am not too positive. I will have to try and pin point it down.
Honestly, I just wasnt sure what product I could use whether it be WD-40, white lithium, or silicon etc.
