Something else to consider - a new rule for the new Covid19 world in which we now live!

The following is not particularly humorous. It is in some ways but also points out the severity of what we are facing as some of the little jokes posted previously.
Had to go to the local Dollar Store yesterday to replenish my vitamin C - my go to immune system support. As I walked through the door this little frail lady, looked late 80s or 90, dressed in a long heavy top, blue rubber gloves and a face mask was coming toward me at a very slow, deliberate pace - like you've seen old people do.
A line was building at the register and down the aisle came the employee to get to the register. The little lady was slowly moving at the end of the aisle. The employee reached out and gently put her hand on the old lady to make sure she didn't knock her off balance as she squeezed by. As soon as she was touched the little of lady raised her arms up by her had and started screaming because she was touched. I looked on in amazement. The clerk apologized and moved on the register. The little old lady went out the door and then everyone began laughing and cracking jokes about her.
What does that tell us? I respect the little old lady and fully understand her fears. I also respect the social distancing and can see how someone her age is terrified of the contact. I don't understand how folks think that it's funny. For someone her age it very well could be a life and death situation and I'm sure, given her fear and precautions she had taken, that she would not have been there if there was another option.
Just thought I would throw that out there because to some that day it was a humorous experience - I didn't think so.

The donkey pic brought back an old memory. I'd only seen that pose once before, and it was the morning of the day that my wife made an appointment with the vet to have the donkey neutered. This is a true story.

If you were taking me to be cut... it would take a whole platoon... not one GI. I don't care how strong he was. LOL
Good Luck,

The soldiers in the photo look pretty spread out to be in a mine field. As for the real story behind the picture (baby donkey),who knows? But the moral of the story is spot on.

One FL county is using this sign as a ruler for social distancing.

Saw this the other day:
We all have Schrodinger’s Virus now.
Because we cannot get tested, we can’t know whether we have the virus or not.
We have to act as if we have the virus so that we don’t spread it to others.
We have to act as if we’ve never had the virus because if we didn’t have it, we’re not immune.
Therefore, we both have and don’t have the virus. Thus, Schrodinger’s Virus.

I'm starting to act like my shelties - I roam around the house looking for food, shy away from strangers and I get excited about going for a ride in the car.....
