Splendide combo washer

The dw loves the washer/dryer combo unit. The only issue she has with it is the wrinkles. She has tried different settings and still lots of wrinkles. Does anyone have a setting or technique that actually works. Now we have to go shopping for a good steam iron.

The wife only dries half of what she washes at a time and folds the clothes after washing and puts back in to dry. Leaves the other half on top of the unit till first half dries. Clothes still need to be ironed but not as bad as drying all at the same time.

Don't remember were I read this but it did help. Reduce the amount of fabric softener. We did and the wrinkles got quite a bit less. Seems backwards to me but... We put maybe a tablespoons worth in per load. Also, putting in too much soap is supposed to increase wrinkles as well so make sure you are not using too much.

liquid soap helped considerably. The binders in powder soap seem to act like a starch because the washer doesnt use as much water.

So far Tide liquid cleans the best and leaves the least amount of wrinkles.

Keep the loads small and remove promptly. By small I mean, 2 pairs shorts, 4 sets underwear, and 4 tee shirts. That's our usual load during our winter stay in Florida. Works for us.
