Latest Project

After reading a couple of threads on WD bar storage, I realized that this was something that I've been meaning to do, but just never got around to it, so I spent an afternoon building and installing. I took 2 1X3 strips, a couple of pieces of plywood out of my scrap box and some corner supports frome Home Depot to hang it. It gives me place to store the tension bars and chain& plate when not being used and keeps the grease off of the floor in the pass-through. One of my pet peeves with Keystone TTs is their failure to provide adequate outside storage. This will help.. Bottom photo is the installation phase. I used screw jacks to hold it in position while I drilled holes for the corner supports.

Nicely done, Bob. The screw jacks were a good idea to provide an extra pair of hands.

Your pass through is quite a bit smaller than mine. I actually crawled into mine when I was hanging my spring bar storage tubes. Getting in was easy, but crawling out was an interesting exercise for someone who's limber days are well behind him.

Nice Mod!..I'm going to share this idea with a buddy of mine, he is always trying to find a place to put his tension bars so they are out of the way..

Nice job, first time I saw something like that. Our storage is pretty full but I will have to look to see if something can be done. Thanks

Very nice... Looking at doing something like that to store my long items like fishing poles and bbq tools.

How did you attach the 1x3 to the trailer framing?

That is brilliant! I've been looking at the basement space in my new TT and wondering what to do with all that wasted volume.

Now I know!!!!!

Small L-shaped corner braces from Home Depot.
