Convert from rvp remote to wall thermostat

Hi, I was wondering if anybody knows how to convert the rvp remote control thermostat with all the workings in the ac unit to a regular wall thermostat? The ac is a Coleman Mach 3 I believe.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Don't know if this helps but here's an article on changing out the thermostat from the old analog ones. http://eaa1358.com/Passport/Hunter%2...structions.pdf

Here are the installation instructions for the t-stat and ceiling items. You may be able to find your equipment and reverse the install. There may be some extra wires that won't be used once you figure out the wiring. From glancing over the instructions, you may need to replace items other than the t-stat. Let us know what you have for the ceiling fixture if you need more input.

Thank you both for the replies.

I printed off the the instructions.

I guess what I need to figure out is if the sensor on the air inlet on the ac is pretty much like a regular thermostat. It has a wire that looks like a phone line on the back the runs up to a control box with the circuit board in it. In short I'm wondering if I was to hook a thermostat up to that phone line if that would do away with that PIA remote.

Thanks again

Never mind there's only four wires in there. Don't know how it works
