The hydraulic pump motor draws more amperage when running the pump in reverse to retract the hydraulic jacks, so it might be possible that when weight is still on the jacks, that weight is assisting the pump to retract the jacks, but as soon as the weight is not there and the pump is doing all the work, your auto reseting breaker that feeds the motor may be opening up due to the additional load. I would be checking that breaker and if that is tripping, it probably needs to be replaced, possibly with an 80 amp breaker like what is recommended by Lippert.
