This is kind of a silly mod, but it was done for free with stuff I had sitting here.
The stock tail lights on my trailer leave a lot to be desired. They have not much for a reflector and make little use of the large red lense. There was a plastic divider right above the light. This is likely for another added bulb for a blinker or backup in another application. In mine it was just blocking light so I cut it out. Then I used some spray adhesive and aluminum foil and covered the surface behind the bulb. It is not a night and day difference, but I would guess 25-30% better. I have also ordered some much brighter LED's to drop in there, just waiting for them to show up.
