That, and I also noticed there is a propane pipe crossing from one side to the other. At this point I don't know if there will be any interference with that or not. I'm going to have to make a closer, more thorough inspection before I go nuts with the drill.

Thanks for that idea. At this point there's no doubt I'm going to want to reinforce that spot.
