When your plugged into shore power, the converter should charge the battery. If you can locate it, look for 2 fuses on the back side. UNPLUG the converter first, then test the fuses. If they are good then I would say you probably need a new one. If the fuses test good, then plug it back in and check the voltage at the two large wires held in with screw terminals. Should be over 13VDC. It is rare but I've seen a few fail within a month of delivery.
