While it will do nothing to a pyramid, the wands do work great for rinsing off the sides of the tank, including the sensors. Be careful when using it (if you do) because if you raise it up higher than the drop pipe you will get a splash right in the face! Definitely not recommended. At least keep your mouth closed.
