I don't have the patience to read the whole thread so sorry if this has been covered - When my sensors have been covered I have filled the tank to the top and let it sit for a few days and it always has fixed it. I think pieces of TP just get stuck on them and sitting under water dissolves it.
I can't imagine there is a 30 gallon pile of poop sitting in the tank and covering all 3 sensors but anything is possible, I guess.
As for cleaning the tank, a clear fitting to watch as you drain works great. Just keep dumping buckets of water in or fill a bit and drain until it runs clear.
