You need to be careful where ever you go. We have been in NYC a good number of times.
We visited Elis Island, Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Ground Zero, and more.
I have never felt unsafe at any time while there.
I think many people watch hours of negative news on tv and end up thinking they're in danger just going out the front door of the house.
The news shows love it because people stay home and watch more negative news shows. That boosts their rating way up and makes celebrities out of the commentators.
I know there are dangers, but it's no where near as bad as you see on tv.
Remember everything gets on the news today...ratings...ratings. Cameras are everywhere.
