AC conversion is really inefficient, so I try to run only low wattage items through my inverter. I tried to run my Mr. Coffee on inverter but discovered the 1200 watt coffee maker wasn't worth the draw down on my batteries. 15 minutes to brew a pot sucked over 25 amp hours out of the batteries. There are good conversion charts.
