The slide outs are designed and constructed to withstand the weight of appliances, furniture and the occupants. I've never heard of any slide out collapsing when extended and if you are concerned enough about any movement of the slide out, installing stabilizers to the RV's frame and jacks would be a much better route to go. These would reduce the movement throughout the whole unit rather than just the slide out.

It's not a great idea - save your money.
